This foundation is super lightweight with a silky texture, easy to blend and adds a gorgeous glow to the skin, It has the most beautiful naturally flawless finish and it makes my skin looks effortlessly perfect, Pretty much a dream foundation, right ?!

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk is a medium coverage foundation, but I love to apply small amount to achieve a light coverage, and it’s also buildable if you want a high coverage.

Bottom Line, I really LOVE it, It’s one of my holygrail.

These days, hardly to find anyone who would not have a problem with hair fall.  Well, blame the lifestyle or the environment, all of us do suffer from this problem and we just keep looking for hair fall treatment products.

Summer 2015 with Chanel Collection Mediterranée: Lumière d’Été Illuminating Powder

Hello Summer !

It’s getting HOT in here, isn’t it ?! So it’s the right time for our skin to be glow as the Sun glow these day. Today I will present you, The Lumière d’Été Illuminating Powder from the Chanel summer 2015 Collection Mediterranée.

According to Chanel’s description, this powder is supposed to be a highlighter, but I think people with a lighter skin like mine will be able to use the Lumière d’Été as a bronzer too.

The powder contains 8g of product. The Lumière d’Été illuminating powder comes in a little box with a similar Chanel flower imprint that you could always find on it’s powder. The product itself comes in a black velvet pouch that also contains a little brush which are really soft and it feels nice on my skin.

The Lumière d’Été illuminating powder has the pattern of the camellia flower, which is so elegant and I really loves it !

 A Chanel describes the product as:

Presented in the iconic black case with its applicator brush, this illuminating powder takes the shape of a camellia in a luxuriant version. Fully blossomed and steeped in summer light, the emblematic flower of CHANEL makes the cheekbones and décolleté sparkle in every sunbeam. It enhances a naturally golden complexion and highlights the most beautiful décolletés with a satiny makeup result.

I have the Camélia de plumes highlighter from the winter 2014 collection and the Camélia Rosé blush from the spring 2015 collection so this powder couldn’t be missing in my collection. For me, this is a versatile product. Lighter skin tones can use it as a bronzer and a blush. For darker skin tones this will be a great highlighter.

When The sun was shining on my skin, I noticed a nice glow on my cheeks. That was definitely the Chanel Lumière d’Été so it does give your skin a pretty glow, but it’s only noticeable in direct sunlight. The perfect product for summer I would say.

Bottom line, The Chanel Lumière d’Été is a versatile product that will suit almost everyone, makes you look looks stunning under the SUN, Let’s glow together this Summer 2015, Ladies!

My Mom often warn me that sunscreen loses its effectiveness when it's exposed to water or sweat. That's why we need a right Sunscreen so we could swim, play, and enjoy the outdoors. 

I found this awesome Sunscreen, Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF50+ that has a WetForce technology infused into the Sunscreen.

It actually works better when it's wet. Instead of resisting water, the formula uses it along with positive and negative ions to create a stronger UV protective veil around the skin, delivering the best coverage under the sun for healthy-looking, beautiful skin, and just be sure to reapply immediately after towel drying or after 80 minutes.

Shiseido Ultimate Sun Protection Cream SPF50+ provides high sun protection, yet is comfortable and gentle on the skin.

What I also love about this Sunscreen, it is non-greasy and  gives you a matte finish, which many people enjoy especially those with oily skin.

I’m highly recomended this Sunscreen for a water and sport activity but not for a daily used especially to put it under your make up, sinceit’s a thick cream and it doesn’t blend easily and sometimes leaves a white cast under the make up, since it’s a thick cream and it doesn’t blend easily and sometimes leaves a white cast under the make up

Chanel UV Essentiel Multi Protection Daily UV Care SPF 50

Hello Ladies !

Who doesn't love Summer ?! Well, Lucky me, living in a part of the world that provide me a SUN along the year.. and I love it ! That's why, Sunscreens is the most important thing on my beauty routine.

CHANEL UV Essentiel Multi-Protection Daily UV Care SPF 50 sunscreen has been a long time favourite of mine.

On Chanel’s website, The UV Essentiel sunscreen is described as “skin’s guardian angel that shields skin safely beyond the reach of aggressive UVA/UVB rays.”

this sunscreen is “a free-radical and anti-pollution shield with a Vitamin E derivative and plant extracts.” It moisturizes the skin well and is very soothing. The “oil-free, lightweight formula safeguards the skin against environmental pollutants.” Other ingredients in this product like “licorice root extract and a highly effective combination of UVA and UVB filters help diminish and prevent the appearance of dark spots and signs of premature ageing.”

As always, Chanel's packaging is beautifully done. It's compact and travel friendly, which is always a plus for portability and convenience.

There is a floral fragrance like others Chanel’s products. The scent is light and fluffy, but it does linger on the skin after application. The formula is great for underneath makeup, It blends well into the skin and does not leave a white cast. Because the finish is a bit more slick, I prefer not to apply my face makeup over this immediately – in fact, I wait a good 10-15 minutes. 

This sunscreen  does not claim to be water-resistant or sweat-resistant , so I wouldn’t suggest wearing this to go swimming or to be outside for hours sweating.

Overall, I recommend this product, You know how much I LOVE Chanel, well I guess, every girl do LOVE Chanel !

Little Squishy Miracle - Called The Konjac Sponge

Have you heard about these ‘magic sponge’, The Konjac Sponge, Well today I will share my experience with it and trust me, this little squishy miracle will change your skin routine.


What's in it ?
Konjac is actually a pure natural sea vegetable, sort of like a potato, that is mineral rich and free of any additional colourants. The Konjac sponge is extremely gentle and 100% biodegradable – it should last 2 to 3 months, Once it starts to look tired and/or breaks down, replace it. You could compost it when it’s time for a new one.

What Does the Konjac Sponge Do?
The Konjac sponge is an extremely gentle cleanser for both face and body. I have two separate sponges, one for my body and one for my face. The sponge acts as a gentle exfoliator, rubbing off dead skin cells in the most delicate manner. The extra soft texture means that its ok for anyone to use,  babies included (they even have a sponge for babies too!).

How Do I Use the Konjac Sponge?

Just add water! This sponge comes dry and hard, but after soaking in water, will be soft and spongy. It's best to use a makeup remover first, if you are wearing makeup, before using the sponge. Once it is wet and puffy, simply use the flat side in a circular motion around your face to exfoliate and remove dirt and grime. This circular massaging will stimulate tired skin & encourage skin renewal.
Once you are finished with your sponge, squeeze it between your hands to get the water out – and simply wiring out to keep their hygiene.

Do I Need to Use a Cleanser with a Konjac Sponge?
If you choose, you can also use a bit of your cleanser with the sponge, although this may shorten its lifespan. Since keeping your skin’s natural moisture intact is essential in anti-aging, I prefer to use my sponge in the morning (since I’m not using my Clarisonic for day & night cleansing routine – find out why http://saturdaywithnatalie.blogspot.com/2015/05/bye-bye-clogged-pores.html)
A Facial cleanser can be drying and unnecessary after sleeping.

Me and The ‘Glow’

When I apply it to my skin it felt cool and there is ‘this calming’ sensation on my skin. After a while I felt it’s tingling a bit on my skin. I let it dry for about  10 minutes, it gets very tight when it dries, so you won’t even need a timer to determine when it’s done. I wash it off with warm luke water.

My skin did look noticeable brighter, and the amazing thing is, I always have those ‘Panda eyes’ underneath my eyes and it is kinda disappear. My skin felt much smoother and so ready to have make up applied to it.

Now I understand why this mask had a reputation in the entertainment Industry, well it is great for someone who deal with long flights, lack of sleep, and have to deal with tons of make up.
